What Will I Learn?
Who is the course for?
The course is suitable or those requiring a basic introduction to life support who may be required to be involved in the event of a life threatening emergency. The Basic Life Support and AED programme is not designed to provide skills to personnel who will be responsible for managing an emergency situation for extended periods of time, or where the complexity of injuries is likely to be great. It is therefore recommended that a minimum number of personnel are trained to a higher level within any organisation.
Please see the following pages for our more detailed first aid courses in Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid.
How long will the course take?

What else should I know?
Our course can be tailored to your needs to include situations you are likely to encounter such as bleeds or anaphylactic shock. Delegates will receive a three year qualification after successfully completion of the course.
